Although we are going to hold lots of table tennis matches with the new bats, we are currently continuing a project that was started back in Jan 08 too – The Shirt Project (Did the shirt enjoy itself?).
This started when we found a shirt in a charity shop in Sherwood, we both wanted to buy it. It was £2.99, we decided to go halves on the condition that we could share the shirt. After it was purchased, we realised this would be difficult as Adam lived in Sleaford and Katie lived in Nottingham, plus we weren’t very good at sharing. We devised our own competition to decide who should own the shirt for keeps.
To prove that we had individually shown the shirt a good time, we would need to take a poloroid photo to capture the moment of enjoyment.
This has resulted in two sets of poloroid photographs to base a decision over who should own the shirt. To avoid any subjectivity, we will display these photos in our Finding Time exhibition during Sherwood Arts Week, where we will ask the public to vote upon the most enjoyable shirt experience. The shirts fate and future enjoyment will then finally be decided.
